STAR is het meest uitgebreide component in het UNITI assortiment. Uiteraard beschikt hij over dezelfde mogelijkheden als ATOM, echter voegt daar nog een aantal mogelijkheden aan toe.

Zo heeft STAR de beschikking over een krachtigere eindversterker, met 2 x 70 Watt aan vermogen levert hij serieuze kracht en controle. Daarnaast beschikt STAR over een cd-speler met ingebouwde rip mogelijkheid. Hij kan hiermee uw cd’s omzetten naar hoogwaardige digitale audiofiles. Deze bestanden kunt u opslaan op uw NAS, USB-harddrive of via gemakkelijk een SD-geheugenkaart in de achterzijde van de STAR. De ingebouwde UPnP server deelt uw muziek op het netwerk zodat andere netwerkspelers ook uw collectie kunnen benaderen.

Standaard beschikt de STAR over een HDMI verbinding, hiermee haalt u het beste uit uw tv-geluid. Daarnaast beschikt u over een groot 4 digitale ingangen en 2 analoge ingangen. Door de stereo en pre-amp RCA ingangen kunt u de STAR ook als bron of als bron-voorversterker gebruiken samen met een losse eindversterker.

Verder heeft STAR de laatste mogelijkheden op het gebied van streaming. Zo is er ondersteuning voor TIDAL en Spotify Connect, maar kunt u gemakkelijk via Bluetooth, Airplay en Google Cast verbinding maken met elke streamingdienst via uw mobile device.

Met het grootste gemak luistert u naar muziek vanaf de andere kant van de wereld met Internetradio. Mocht u toch nog graag luisteren naar FM/DAB+, dan is de STAR hier optioneel mee aan te vullen.
